For businesses, we provide commercial transport for general freight, construction materials, specialist equipment, retail goods and other commercial loads. We also offer package collection and delivery for individuals and businesses, secure storage for household and business possessions, legal dump runs and rubbish clearance, and flexible man and van assistance. How it Started ...
2023 |
Three years ago, there was no fleet, no depot and no big financial backing. There were no investors, no start-up funding and no opportunities being handed to them. There were just two cousins, one van and a willingness to work.
“You don't need everything to start.
You just need to start.”
One Job Became The Next
The business started as Man With A Van. As word spread, more people began trusting us with their homes, belongings and businesses. The work became bigger, the distances became longer and the vans started moving more frequently.
What started as a simple man and van service was becoming something much bigger.
The Big Change
What started as Man With A Van has grown into a professional removals, transport and storage company serving customers across Northern Ireland, the UK, Ireland and beyond.
From household moves to commercial transport, our work now takes us considerably further than those first local jobs.
- Professional removals
- Transport & logistics
- Secure storage
- Commercial transport
- UK & Ireland coverage
- International work

Our story
Started Small.
Built Through Hard Work.
Moving Forward.
Starting From Scratch
Neither of us wanted to spend our lives in the jobs we were in. We knew we wanted something different, but we didn't have a huge amount of money behind us or a ready-made business waiting to happen.
So we started wherever we could.
Small jobs. Local collections. Dump runs. Anything that gave us an opportunity to work, learn and build something.
The Business Grew
The first van was no longer enough. We kept putting the money back into the business and building for what came next. One vehicle became several. Vans became lorries. The operation expanded, the team grew and the services developed alongside it.
A Growing Fleet
A business that began with two cousins and one van now has a fleet capable of taking on work across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
- S-Series Scanias
- A growing fleet of lorries
- A fleet of trailers
- Moffetts & forklifts
- Vehicles operating across the UK & Ireland
- 20+ countries travelled
- Ireland to Russia, four times
- Working with major companies and organisations
AND THE CRAZIEST PART? We're still only 23 and 26.
